Inspiring Client Spotlight-Bethany Davis

This month's Client Spotlight is a dear friend, Bethany Davis! My hope is that Bethany's story of total transformation will inspire you to do something you have never done before to achieve the life long results you desire for your whole body health. Bethany is an amazing mother to Hamp and Ansley and loving wife to Tyler. She has been exercising at TransFit for over a year and grows stronger each week- not only in muscular strength but in spiritual strength as well. She has reached her goal with body composition and still pushes herself in every workout to strive to be her best! My hope is that Bethany's real, honest story about where she came from and how she feels now will inspire YOU to dream big  and achieve your goals for whole body health! Please read her story below, followed by one of her favorite recipes to try!

"I have always been active and involved in sports, but in the beginning of 2014 I found myself in a slump and unable to identify with the person I had become. I was eating and drinking too much and it was weighing on me physically and emotionally.  I was filling my "God-sized hole" with all the wrong things and had grown further and further away from Him. One of my favorite quotes is "when I stopped living in the problem and started living in the solution, the problem went away."  Caroline and TransFit was part of the solution for me.

From the first session with her I knew that she was something special.  Her energy, positivity, and motivation helped me reach and surpass my goals of loosing weight and BMI.  I joke with my husband that she is like watching the sunrise in the morning.  At first it hurts your eyes, then you welcome it, it makes your day a good one, and then you can't wait to do it all over again!

I enjoy working out at TransFit as it challenges me differently each time! The exercise I enjoy the most is  the plank, because I feel like I'm multitasking.  And the exercise I find the most challenging is anything in the jungle gym (TRX).  Don't let the name fool you, it's more difficult than it sounds! Plank in the Jungle Gym is a challange but I enjoy the challenge now!

I go to the TransFit studio twice a week, play tennis twice a week and walk on my days off.  I love that Caroline incorporates gratitude into her workouts and it's given me the perspective that I am lucky to have this body to celebrate and use.  One of the posters on her wall that I look at every time I'm there says "If you want something you have never had, you must do something you have never done."  I eat healthier, I no longer drink, and I feel like a new person. My family has benefited from my new lifestyle in ways that I didn't even know were possible.  I am much more patient, I am happier,  and am more positive.

My current goal is simple.  Progress.  As long as I am improving little by little I am pleased.  More water, more protein, less junk.  I am so thankful that God has put Caroline and all the encouraging women at TransFit in my life.  My life wouldn't be the same without them."
